Pick up from your hotel in Arusha town in the morning and then drive to Marangu National Park Gate where we will spend about one hour for registration depending on the number of climbers on that day. After completing the necessary registration formalities at Marangu National Park Gate, you will start climbing Mount Kilimanjaro through dense semi-tropical to the first hut Mandara–Hut 2,700 meters above the sea level. You will stop for lunch and be visiting Maundi Crater before you start descending back to Marangu National Park Gate where the vehicle will be waiting to drive you back to Arusha town in order to stay overnight on your own arrangements.
After breakfast, pick up from your hotel in Arusha town in the morning and then you will be transferred to Marangu village where you will start your tour by walking along the Marangu village and visit the local Blacksmith and then head off to the waterfalls. During your trek to the waterfalls, you will enjoy the scenery of coffee and bananas plantations farms. Late in the afternoon, you will drive back to Arusha town in order to stay overnight on your own arrangements.
This beautiful small crater lake lies 10 km outside of Arusha town. The lake is covered with dense forest, where you can see a variety of birds, reptiles and monkeys, like the fish eagle, kingfisher and huge monitor lizards. From here you have great views of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro. Enjoy a 2,5 hours walk under the canopy of Lake Duluti forest, on the shores of the lake. After this walk you will have a hot lunch at Mountain Village Lodge. The day ends with an 1,5 hours canoeing experience on the crater lake.
Spend a morning or afternoon becoming a coffee connoisseur. Starting at Kimemo’s Café where you will have an introduction about the personal history of coffee within this family. On the tour you will be guided through the many processes that takes the bean from the tree to the cup. On your return to Kimemo’s café you will see and smell the roasting and packaging where the aromas of coffee fill your senses. Now armed with greater knowledge, coffee will never be the same again. Just let those taste buds come alive!

A short but bumpy drive from Arusha, turquoise waters of the Chemka Hot Springs, an oasis of geothermal warmth that bubbles up from underground. Surrounded by lush forest alive with birdsong and the call of monkeys, the Chemka Hot Springs is an ideal place to ease those tired legs after a strenuous ascent up Kilimanjaro or relaxing after safari. The water of Lake Chala comes from the underground streams from Kilimanjaro Mountain. Here you can explore. There is great diversity of all forms of the life at Chala; from the magic lake, with its thriving lake shore forest to rolling volcanic savanna; from river beds stunningly carved through ancient rock, to broad bush, from rocky crater walls to flat forests out on the black soil. Walking at Chala through this ancient land is a paranormal experience that will put you back in touch with nature and revive your soul. Chala has a huge variety of trees, grasses and plants, many rare and some unique to the area. There are also many species of butterflies and birds. You will need comfortable walking shoes.
Early depart for Tarangire National Park, Tarangire is the sixth largest national park covers an area of approximately 2,850sq km. Tarangire is famous for its huge number of elephant’s population, baobab trees and tree climbing African pythons numerous of birdlife over 400 different species can be identified, then afterward drive to Arusha.
Things to see.
Serengeti may be well known, but Tarangire during the dry season is the home for more wildlife. As well as the herds of elephant Tarangire is home to buffalo, lion, wildebeest, zebra and gazelle while gerenuk and fringe-eared Oryx are ‘local specialties’. Lake Burunge’s marshy shores are the lure for these mammals and the waters attract many beautiful bird species, too.
Look out for giant kingfishers, hoopoes and the delightfully-named white-bellied go-away bird. Tarangire is noted for its splendid baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia woodland. At the end of an inspiring afternoon amongst the wildlife, drive back to your hotel in Arusha.
Pickup from your hotel at Arusha, as early as 06.30 hrs in the morning by our driver you will embark on a 3 hours drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We will cross the Great Rift Valley on our way and ascend the stunning escarpments of the rift valley with a brief stop at the Rift Valley Escarpment’s view point (if you wish). We will have a brief stop at the Loduare Main Gate where we will undergo the registration process briefly for some 5 to 10 minutes then proceed to the Crater Rim where we will make another short brief stop to have nice and stunning views over the Crater floor as well as take photos. After taking some photos we descend to the Crater floor and spend the whole day doing game drives inside the world’s unbroken Caldera which is also one of the UNESCO world heritage sites found in Tanzania. Ngorongoro Crater is famous for spotting a lot of animals at a very close range including the Big Five with just a little luck in one day. Other animals that can be spotted include; zebras, hartebeests, wildebeests, impalas, gazelles, topis, hyenas, jackals, and many birds including the flamingos. Picnic lunch will be served at one of the sites in the Crater floor then continue with game drives until 15.30 hrs or 16.00 hrs when we drive out and proceed back to Arusha arriving early in the evening with lots of memories and photos to share!

The Lake Manyara National Park provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. More than 400 species have been recorded in the area, and even a first-time visitor to Africa might reasonably expect to observe 100 of these in one day. Highlights include thousands of pink-hued flamingos on their perpetual migration, as well as other large water birds such as pelicans, cormorants, and storks.
Itinerary
In order to get enough time for the game viewing at Lake Manyara we will leave Arusha early breakfast and drive about 126km to the entrance gate.
The Lake Manyara National Park is beautiful and the home of rich habitats and topographical features extending on the Rift Wall, ground water forest, acacia woodlands and open grasslands to the shores of Lake Manyara and the lake itself.
Arrive at the grassy floodplain, contrasting starkly with the intimacy of the forest, with expansive views eastward across the alkaline lake to the jagged blue volcanic peaks rising from the endless Maasai Steppes. See the large buffalo, wildebeest, and zebra herds congregating on the grassy plains. Continue exploring, maybe spot a lion or leopard, and follow your guide for a photo at the hippos before pausing for lunch.
Your day tour begins your hotel pickup at the morning, followed by the short drive to nearby Arusha National Park. Often overlooked by visitors to Tanzania, this is nevertheless a special place: your driver-guide will show you the marvelous Ngurdoto Crater and the splendid resident wildlife.

Enjoy a calming canoeing safari in Arusha National Park, and experience wildlife watching in a whole new way. Watching the resident wildlife come to the lake to quench their thirst promises a good nature sighting. You can also opt for a walking safari which can turn into an exciting highlight here, in a park which is the only place on Tanzania’s Northern Circuit where the acrobatic black and white colobus monkey can be easily seen.
Also present here are leopards and hyena, though an elephant sighting would be rare and lion are absent. But there is every chance to see giraffe and zebra, waterbuck and dik-dik. Enjoy the colorful birdlife with trogon, turaco and flamingo among the many species, while you break for picnic lunch, in this delightful setting.
